Already well recognized as a reliable workaholic, the Cessna Caravan assumes a leading position in aerial photography after modification from The ServiCenter, Inc.!

With no affect on its respected role of cargo hauling and passenger carrying, you can now include aerial photography as routine.

Applicable to both the C-208 and C-208B aircraft, our STC allows up to two separate camera ports be installed. The cabin floor of the fuselage is modified by installing a single 20 inch diameter camera port or an additional 20 inch diameter camera port just aft of the first port. A six inch diameter navigation sight port is installed just aft of the single port (between ports if dual) or an additional navigation sight port below the copilots seat.

One external sliding door may be installed as an option for the forward camera port if dual ports are installed. An internal sliding door is provided inside the aft camera port. Both doors are actuated by an electric motor and mechanical chain drive and slide inside track guides. Both camera ports and navigation sight ports may be manually sealed from the outside with a cover plate attached with machine screws. A plexiglass cover is provided for the forward port (single hole when dual ports are installed) to be installed inside the port when not being used for camera operations for noise reduction in the cabin. The modification is compatible with the belly pod modification but the belly pod must be removed when used as an aerial photography platform.
